Day #26 - 10/8/14 - Unit 1 Lesson 12 Part II

Good Morning Students,
It was fun to see those of you who came to Open House last night. Mrs. Sargent and I enjoyed meeting many of your parents.  It is an ‘A’ Day so we will go to Music.
Now, in accepting yesterday’s quest to defeat the Mess Monster, you have all taken on the role of “Hero” and have accepted the call to adventureAs your Mentors we  see many of you struggling to organize your binders, and we have seen how the mess monster will threaten you on this road of trials. Therefore it is time we pass on our wisdom to  you.
In order for you to succeed on your journey through 6th grade you will need to read these next words very carefully. You MUST switch your Social Studies Binder over to a Social Studies Folder . This simple action will ensure your survival through the treacherous journey ahead, and protect you as you travel the road of trialsIf you are not able to get your own folder to guard against the mess monster, you may ask one of your mentors for this magical item. We will provide one for you.
                            Thank you,
                             Your Mentors
P2P: I am claiming that YOU are all on a Hero’s Journey! How does your journey through 6th grade compare with the Hero’s Journey? Think about it & discuss it quietly with your Triad.
