This is a correction from yesterday.
You need to pick the theme you think is the strongest!

    ACTIVITY #2
    Partner Writing
Do you think you could now use your graphic organizers to write your own mini-essay, with an introduction, 2 body paragraphs, and conclusion?

Review the structure of the sample mini-essay. This can be found in your Reading Strategies Section of your notebook.
    • What is the first sentence of each paragraph?
    • Where is the evidence?
    • What is the author’s thinking?
Sample mini-essay. THIS IS YOUR MODEL!!!!!!!!

Directions: Collaborate with a writing partner to transform the information on your graphic organizers into your own mini-essay.
    You will:
    • write the 1st body paragraph
    • write the 2nd body paragraph
    • write an introduction that introduces the body paragraphs
