Directions:
- Read the article. You may highlight and annotate the article as you read.
- Answer the 4 multiple choice questions
- Write the main idea in the graphic organizer
- Record one detail for each section of the article on the graphic organizer. Record the detail which you think pertains to the main idea and that you believe is most important.
- Using the information from your graphic organizer, on loose leaf paper draft a 4 sentence summary of the article. Include the:
- Main idea
- and one detail from each section of the article
