Point to Ponder: Madlib Monday. Today is your last chance to do a Halloween themed madlib.

Learning Stations

#1 Guided Reading (We do)

Reading Strategies: 

Questioning & Following Plot Structure

What events did you add to your chronology of events from your last reading?

#2 Independent Reading (You do)

• Finish reading the assigned pages for your guided reading group.
• Add words from your Guided Reading book to your list of vocabulary words
• Add 2 - 3 events to your Chronology of events

#3 Word Work (You do)

• Use the dictionary and the Word Central Link to create Frayer Models of words on your Word List

#4 Work on Writing (You do)
Literary Elements Test - This is an open notebook test. You may use your notes, but yo must work independently. 

When you finish, write down questions you have about today's reading.

#5 Computer  - Analyzing the Main Characters (You do)

• Go to Kidblog
• Copy and past the writing Prompt
• Create a new post to respond
• When you are done, read and respond to other student's posts.

Writing Prompt:

Describe your main character in your guided reading book. What type of person are they?

How do you know? Use details and evidence from your book.
