  2. How does the story of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets fit the pattern of the Hero's Journey?

Pre - Reading
  • Think about the Hero's Journey and what we've read so far in chapters 1 - 5. Use the Depth of knowledge hand out to help you write a question. 
  • Evaluate yourself. Did you ask a level 1, 2, or 3 question?
During - Reading
  • Use the Cornell Notes to record important events, main ideas, or other details you think are important to Harry Potter and the Hero's Journey.

Post - Reading (You Do)
  • Use your notes and your depth of knowledge chart to try and write a level 1, 2, and 3 question.
  • Discuss your questions with the people at your group.
  • Pick the best level 1, level 2, and level 3 question to share with the class.
