Day #98 - 2/23/15 - Mod 2A Unit 1 Lesson 9 Part III: Steve Jobs' Speech & Chapter 9 of Bud, Not Buddy

Good Morning Students,
I hope you all enjoyed your February break. I am wondering what you all did. I can tell you that I shoveled a lot of snow.  Today is a ‘D’ day so we will go to Gym.  Please pick up an Ipad and answer today’s poll question. Be sure everyone in your group gets a chance to vote. Then work on the Point to Ponder.
                            Thank you
                       Mrs. Sargent & Mr. T.
P2P: Write a paragraph about what you did over February break.
Think about 1 thing you did over vacation. Write a topic sentence about that one thing. Include at least 3 details and a concluding sentence.

Example:
Over my February break I went shopping for tuxedos. My fiance and I went to a store called Men’s Warehouse in Cicero and we met with a wonderful Sales Representative named Mary. She showed us all the different tuxedo styles, colors, and accessories that go with renting a tuxedo. When we had received all the information we were looking for we thanked Mary for her time and told her we really liked what we saw, but we would be in touch with her after we checked out a few more stores. We did indeed check out out several other stores, but none were as nice as that first one. Needless to say, I was very happy when we went back to see Mary two days later.
