Key Questions:
  • What plot events from chapter 14 did you record in your notes? And why?
  • How do the plot events that you recorded show that Harry Potter is a literary hero?
Remember:
**This is the criteria I am looking for in your summary**

Summaries - Should have 3 parts

1. Main Idea or Topic Sentence

2. Details - should focus on only the most important details that drive the story forward

3. Reflection - finish with a reflective statement or question.

**Now that I have modeled for you how to write a summary, and that you have had a few chapters to practice this skill on your own, you will be handing in today's summary to be graded. It will count as a classwork grade, and I will score it using our standards based scale of 1 - 4.

Scoring:
1st Place = 50 Points
