Movie - Freak the Mighty (Part 3)

Directions: 

• While you are watching the movie you should record information about the climax, and the resolutions for each of the characters. You will use this information to write your compare/contrast mini essay, so make sure you take good notes.
  

Important: 

• The Plot's Climax - How do the events in the movie compare to the events in the book? Focus on the climax. Ask yourself, "Did the movie omit, insert, or change any of the events in the climax?" 
• Characterization & Conflict - Are the characters conflicts resolved the same way in the movie as they are in the book
• Resolution - How do the resolutions compare? 

Writing Strategy - Constructing a written response with:

1. Introduction
2. Claim (about both the book and movie)
3. Evidence (from both the book and movie)
4. Reflection/Conclusion
