Do Now:

• Pick up a copy of the word bank from the front table
• Open your chromebook to our google classroom and open the test on the literary elements.
• Clean everything off your desk except for your notebook, chromebook, word bank, & a pencil

Independent work:

• Read for 20 minutes & bring your independent reading book to class

Literary Elements Test

Directions:

• Read each question and fill in the blank with the correct vocabulary word from the word bank.  
• This test is not about memorizing all of the information from unit 1. It is about your ability to use your notebook as resource. 
• EVERY ANSWER IS IN YOUR NOTEBOOK!!!
• All of the words are in the word bank so make sure to spell your answers correctly. Misspelled answers will lose points.
• Do not use capitals on your answers 
• You must work independently.
• I expect you to remain quiet and in your seat unless it is an emergency

When you finish:

1. Take out an independent reading book and read quietly
