***SNOWDAY*** Day #55 - 11/21/14 - Lesson 9 Part I ***SNOWDAY***

Good Morning 6th Graders,
      Let’s make today awesome!!! It is an ‘E’ day so we will go to Art. It is also an early dismissal day so our schedule will be a bit different. Please be sure that you have all your materials for Block 1. Last, pick up an Ipad for your triad and think about the Point to Ponder.

I think not! 
Therefore it is now time to step up to the call to action and defeat the mess monster once again. This time for good. 
Please Clean out:
1. Your Locker
  • remove all loose papers
  • straighten up other materials like colored pencils, gym clothes, etc.
2. Your ELA Binder
  • remove any old book notes
  • remove_________________
  • remove_________________
3. Your Social Studies Folder
  • remove all papers about maps and geography
  • keep your notes about early civilizations

  • I can collaborate with my triad group to identify the key elements of mythology and the theme of the Myth of Prometheus.

What Key Elements of mythology do you see in the story of Prometheus? 
(Use lesson 4 Page 12 & 13)
1. Discuss with your triad group.
2. Identify one of the elements that you see
3. Highlight the evidence in the text in orange
