Day #51 - 11/17/14 - Unit 2: Lesson 7 Wrap up


Good Morning 6th Graders,
        Today is an ‘A’ day so we will go to Music. Make sure that you have all your materials for Block 1, including your music folder, colored pencils and crayons. Then take out your book notes from chapter 16 so I can check them. Last work on the Point to Ponder. Let’s make today a marvelous Monday.

What details from the myth of Cronus did the author use?



Compare your Graphic Organizer to the Author’s Graphic Organizer.
  • How do they compare?
  • What did the author put in their organizer that we left out?








Activity #3
Begin Reading Chapter 16 as a whole group.

Mark places where the author alludes to myths, stories, or characters from Greek Mythology.
Write your thinking on lesson 7 page 16.
