I hope you all enjoyed your weekend, and had a very Happy Halloween. Today is a ‘C’ day so we will go to Library and Technology. Make sure that you have all your materials you will need for Block 1, including your Library books. Last pick up an Ipad for your Triad group and work on the P2P.

Reading Strategies section of your Notebook
Pivotal means - to have significance to the development of something else, a turning point. If something is pivotal it makes other things happen.
Examples of pivotal moments:
- Birth of a sibling
- Marriage
- Death of a pet or loved one
- Graduation
Use Name sticks to select a student to read their moment.
Is the moment described a pivotal moment? Why or Why not?
