Activity #1
Using Transitions

A conjunction is a type of transition that joins two small sentences to make longer more complex sentences. ANDBUT, and OR are the most popular, and are used more than any other.

Directions:
  • Cut out each page to make the Transitions word booklet.
  • I will come around and staple the booklet across the top so that it stays together.
  • Then glue the booklet into your notebook
Notes:
Using Transitions
  • Transition words help writing to flow from one idea to another
  • They can be used in the beginning, middle, or end of sentences
  • The type of transition to use depends on the purpose

NOW GO TO GOOGLE CLASSROOM AND COMPLETE THE QUIZ
