Day #85 -1/26/15 - Mod 2A Unit 1 Lesson 3: Tone and Meaning & Ch. 3 of Bud, Not Buddy

Good Morning 6th Graders,
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I wonder what you did to have some fun. Did you go outside and get some fresh air, or did you stay inside and do something quiet?
Today is an ‘A’ day, so we will go to Music. We will also be finishing our posters about Egypt and presenting them to our classmates. Make sure you sharpen your pencils and order your lunch. Then, pick up an Ipad and work on the Point to Ponder.
                            Thank you
                       Mrs. Sargent & Mr. T.

P2P: Think about what you did over the weekend to have some fun, then try to write another rule for a “Funner” life. Use this template:

If _______________ , then ____________ .

Examples:
If you want to have a funner life, then you should treat others with kindness and they will become your friend.

If you want to make friends, then you should be yourself, don’t try to be something that you are not.

If you want to have a funner life, then you should find a job doing what you love, then you won’t ever to have to “work” a day in your life!

If you want to succeed in school, then you should listen to the teacher and do all your homework.

If you want to be happy, then you should get a dog.

If you want to have a funner life, then you should find a sport you like and play it every day!
