Use the Peer Critique Guidelines along with the NYS Writing Rubric to Provide feedback to a writing partner.
Directions:
Work with a writing partner to evaluate the literary essays.
Step 1: Read your partners essay
Step 2: Read each criteria
Step 3: Decide what score to give each criteria by circling the appropriate level.
Step 4: Finish by giving one thing to improve upon, and one compliment in the "Notes" section.

Final Draft
Create
a final draft of your Literary Essay on loose leaf paper. Be sure you
include a complete heading and write as neatly as you can.

5. Make an Inference about the main character. Use evidence from the text to support your inference.

6. Write a prediction about what you think might happen in the rest of the book.
7. Finish with a question or something that you wonder.
