Day #77 - 1/13/15 - Unit 2: Lesson 18 - 20


Good Morning 6th Graders,
      I hope you all had a Marvelous Monday. . Today is a ‘C’ day, so we will go to both Library and Technology. Please use your homeroom time to get ready for your day. Don’t forget to sharpen your pencils and order your lunch. Last, pick up an Ipad and work on the Point to Ponder.

  • I can us my graphic organizers to draft the two body paragraphs describing  how a theme is communicated in the Cronus myth and in The Lightning Thief, including how mythology is important today.

    to draft the body paragraphs of our literary analysis.

    Use the NYS Writing Rubric to Provide feedback to a writing partner.




    Activity #3
    Final Draft
    Create a final draft of your Literary Essay on loose leaf paper. Be sure you include a complete heading and write as neatly as you can.

    3. Write a brief summary

    4. Describe the main character (What type of person is the main character?)
    5. Make an Inference about the main character. Use evidence from the text to support your inference. 

    Paragraph 3
    6. Write a prediction about what you think might happen in the rest of the book.
    7. Finish with a question or something that you wonder.
