Day #28 - 10/10/14 - Unit 1 Lesson 13 Part I

Good Morning Young Heroes,
      Today is a ‘C’ Day so we will go to Library and Technology.  On your road of trials you will need to have:
  • ELA Binder of Courage & The Lightning Thief
  • SS Folder of Protection
  • Independent Reading book of knowledge

  • Letters will be due on Friday Oct. 10 (Block 2 only)

  • See the Anchor chart for writing ideas
  • Date Each Entry
  • Be prepared to share your writing


Criteria for Independent Reading Letter # 2
Block 1 - Due Friday October 3
Block 2 - Due Friday October 10

1. Tell me the title and author 
2. Include the main character & the Gist
3. Make an Inference (What type of person is the main character?) Use evidence from the text to support your inference. 
4. Include a prediction about what you think might happen in the book.
5. Finish with a question or something that you wonder.
