Today is a ‘B’ Day so we will go to Art. Don’t forget to enter the room quietly and check the whiteboard to make sure you have all your materials. Then sharpen your pencils and order your lunch.
Meanness can take many forms, but so can kindness. On a piece of scrap paper please write down all words that you associate with Kindness. Your list should be at least 10 words long. Then you may work on the point to ponder.

- While you read I want you to identify the theme of your book. When we are done reading you will be completing a Quick Write about your books theme.
- Use your sticky notes to make annotations about the theme.
- Be sure to mark "Evidence" from the book to use in your written response.
