Day 1: 9/8/21 - First Day of School

Good Morning ALL New 6th Graders,
          Welcome back to school and welcome to 6^th Grade. I am very excited to see you! I hope you all had a wonderful summer vacation. Each day as you enter the room I want you to read the morning message and complete the "Do Now". I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you. It is going to be a very exciting year.

Do Now:         
1. Find a seat that has an "All About Me" worksheet.   
2. Pick up a piece of card stock from the small black table, and create a name tent for yourself. See mine for an example. You should use your own colored pencils or markers, write big & neat, and include 3 pictures that represent you. 
          Take your time on your name tent, but if you finish early please work on the "All About Me" activity. Homeroom is a time to check in, eat breakfast, listen to the announcements, and prepare yourself for the day ahead. It is not a time to goof around.  I have lots of information to give you today, so hold all your questions and I promise I will address each and every one of them.

4) After Block 4 to get all materials for WIN (study hall for now so all 4 subjects materials or those classes that you still have HW for and a silent reading book to do DIRT)

5) After WIN to get ready to go home.
