Key Questions before Reading Ch. 3:
- Who are the 2 main characters?
- What do you know about them?
- What inferences can you make about the characters? How do you know? (What is your evidence?)
- Setting - What's the setting?
- Describe Max's bedroom.
- How does Max describe himself in the first 2 chapters?
- What is the basic situation?
