2. Check to see if you have all your materials

ELA:

Today we will complete a quiz on theme and then share our frayer models in small groups. 

Do Now:

• Write tonight's homework in your agenda
• Open your notebook to page 18
• Open your theme quiz on google classroom

Homework: 

• Get an independent Reading book and bring it to class tomorrow
• Work on IXL

Activity #1

Theme Quiz

(10 minutes)

1. Log in to your chromebook. 

2. Go to google classroom & Find Mr. Trumble's ELA 

3. Click on the classwork tab

4. Complete the quiz independently. You may use your notes, but keep your answers private, and the room should remain silent. When you are done, review your answers, then close your computer.

When everyone is done we will go over the answers.

Tips:

• Make sure you hold your model up so the other students can see it
• Speak loud and clear. 
• Speak slowly. Do not talk too quickly or quietly.
• Pause between each section
• Ask if anyone has questions when you are done
• End by asking if anyone can use your word in a sentence of their own
