It is a ‘D’ day so we will go to Physical Education. Please make sure you have all your materials, including your gym clothes.
I’m going to trust you all to use Ipads again today, however the person who took the Ipod has still not come forward. It is a good thing our school has cameras. I am certain that when Mrs. Sargent and I look at the video we will see who is responsible. If you took the Ipod this is your last chance to come forward, tell the truth, and fix your mistake.
Thank you
Mrs. Sargent & Mr. T.

- Use as many details as you can (at least 2 - 3) from the story to support your thinking.
- You must have
- an introductory sentence.
- One body paragraph aligning Paul Fisher to the Hero’s Journey

Model:
Paul is an example of a classic hero who has just been on the Hero’ Journey.
Paul goes through the call to adventure when his school experiences a sinkhole and he becomes part of the rescue brigade pulling students out of the disaster area. Later in act 1 Paul enters the unknown when he is forced to switch schools from Lake Windsor Downs to Tangerine Middle. He goes from the world of his rich suburban neighborhood of Lake Windsor Downs to the rough tough area of Tangerine.
While at his new school and while with his new friends, Paul overcomes many obstacles on his road of trials. He plays in numerous soccer games and remains undefeated, and he fights the freeze in the grove and helps save the Golden Dawn Tangerines. Paul faces his supreme ordeal when he plays in the championship game and wins the league title. In addition, Paul confronts his father about his mysterious eye injury and ultimately becomes the master of two worlds the night he jumps on Coach Warners back. Paul ends up being famous in Tangerine for this action, and at the same time he has to address his past with his family.
