Day #72 - 12/23/14 - Twas the Day Before Christmas Vacation

Good Morning 6th Graders,

     It is a ‘C’ day today, so we will go to Library and Technology.  I wonder if you all are as excited about Christmas as I am.  Today we will watch the end of The Lightning Thief, and we will have a special treat. This morning we will get a chance to play some cooperative games. In the meantime please try to solve the P2P, and let’s make it a Titanic Tuesday!

Day #71 - 12/22/14 - Twas the Last Chapter of Percy

Good Morning 6th Graders,

     It is a ‘B’ day today, so we will go to Gym.   I hope you all had a joyful weekend. Mine was very busy, but I was able to finish all my Christmas shopping.  I wonder how you all will spend your Christmas vacation. I am looking forward to reading the end of The Lightning Thief today, and watching the second half of the movie tomorrow. Please work on the P2P this morning, and let’s make it a magical Monday!

Day #70 - 12/19/14 - Design a Christmas Card

Good Morning 6th Graders,

     It is an ‘A’ day today, so we will go to Music.   I like listening to Christmas music during this time of year, therefore I thought we could listen to carols while you work on the designs for your Christmas cards so we can decorate our classroom door in order to compete in the APW door decorating contest. I would also like to report that Macy's donated $747 to the Make-A-Wish foundation on behalf of APW Elementary for all the Christmas letters you wrote.
