- Hand out snacks and treats.

Poetry Reading
Standards:
SL6.4 - Present claims and findings sequencing ideas logically and using pertinent descriptions, facts, and details to accentuate main ideas and themes; use appropriate eye contact, adequate volume, and clear pronunciation.
- Start by saying, "Hello, the title of my first poem is ________________ ."
- Then read your poem. Make sure you read the pauses. Don't race through your poems. Read LOUD and PROUD!
- Finish by saying, "Thank You"
- Then say, "The title of my next poem is ___________ ."
- Finish by saying, "Thank You"
